Details of Barrettes

Here are some pictures that show you the size and detail of the barrettes. Some designs work better on the aligator clips (the larger barrettes), and others work better with the baby snap clips (smaller ones).

Safety note

Soon I will be posting pictures of the barrettes I'm making. Please be careful with young children around the barrettes, since the hair clips are small with tiny pieces and can be a choking hazard. Thanks.

Photos of onesies/t-shirts

To get an idea of what my onesies look like on a baby, here are some pictures of my own baby wearing some of my designs! She's wearing the "elephant" t-shirt, an "E" onesie, and the "apples and pears" onesie.

No more buttons

I've decided not to sew on buttons as part of a design on anything I make anymore. I'm just afraid of a baby eating one if it falls off. So if you see a design (below) that has a button on it, and you want something similar, I'm just going to use a circle of fabric instead. 

A painting I made

I made this for my grandfather for his 90th birthday two years ago...I haven't done a painting in a while though. One day eventually I'll get back more into painting. For now I'm concentrating more on the baby stuff.

A new onesie

Here's another onesie that I recently made for my daughter. I'm selling this one too (well, not hers, but I can make another one!) It's a medley of pears and apples, perfect for the upcoming summer.

I'm starting my blog today! Here's a little bit about me: Growing up, I was always making stuff for myself and others. As a little girl I would design barrettes, buttons, and magnets and try to sell them to my classmates (in third grade!) and my parents' friends. Fast forward to many years after that, and  I studied art and design in college. Since having my daughter several months ago, I decided I would go back to making things and trying to sell them. I now design onesies, baby wall hangings, barrettes, and I paint. I'm going to be posting most of my designs here on this blog. I can customize the design to make it special for you.
