Twice as nice

I was happy to design two coordinating gift sets for a newborn set of twin boys - who live in Israel! I made them each an initial onesie and matching tie bib. I used a nautical anchor print for the "s" and a fun polka dot print for the "m". If you're interested in purchasing something similar, please email me at: rachel20@gmail.com

All wrapped up

Ever wonder how I wrap up the gifts that I design? Well first I put the folded clothes in tissue paper that has scalloped edges (to match my "sewbaby" scalloped design). Then I add a "sewbaby" sticker to the outside. Each sticker has different colors to match the designs and tissue paper.

New fabric choice

It's a new green, pink and yellow floral! So preppy..so cute. This is a great pattern for initials, hearts or anything else:

Eyelet

I was in the garment district the other day, here in NYC, and I was browsing the aisles for something..and out of the corner of my eye I spotted some beautiful pink eyelet. I decided to buy it and experiment with it on the collar of a onesie. See the result below - what do you think? I love it! I used it with a pink, green and yellow floral pattern for an 'e' onesie. If you choose to add eyelet to your design, like ric rac, there is an extra $3 charge. But worth it :)

Bloomers!

I now design bloomers for babies! This gift set consists of an initial onesie, matching bib and bloomers. The bloomers only come in white and run a little big. Below, the zoo fabric design is placed on the back of the bloomers, where the baby's tushie is. I can put any fabric on the back of the bloomers - just click on "fabric choices" on the tab on the right of this screen to view the options. You can purchase each piece separately, or as a gift set (there is a discount if you buy a set). I have recently adjusted my prices so look for an upcoming post soon.

New elephant and baby animal fabric

A new baby girl 'R' came into the world recently, so I created this onesie and matching bib for her. The pattern comes from a new baby animal fabric - it has elephants, kittens, ducks, giraffes, etc on it and is so cute! If interested, I can use this fabric on onesies, bibs or pants. Just email me at: rachel20@gmail.com for further info!

Matching onesies and pants

I now am making pants to match onesies! I think the matching shape on the back of the pants looks so cute on a baby's tushie. You can purchase the pieces separately, but you get a discount if you buy the gift set together (plus, it looks so adorable as a matching set!) I can make almost any design you see here on my blog. Here I made two heart shapes in a coordinating bright pink/red design. Contact me at rachel20@gmail.com for prices.

P.S. - see my post below for my new overalls!

Overalls!

Custom overalls are now for sale! I made this star pattern out of a cute nautical anchor pattern. The short overalls have a snap bottom and snaps on the straps for easy access. They do not go full length, but to about a baby's knees. I can also make a heart, an initial, or almost any other design you see here on my blog. The overalls cost $25.

The heart bib is $12 and the long sleeve "L" onesie is $18 + $3 extra for the ric rac. Again, if you buy both, you get a discount!

A New Dress!!

I decided to make my ice cream cone design into a cute summer dress for my daughter. I'm so happy with the way it came out! If you're interested in having me make one for you, just email me at: rachel20@gmail.com

New Onesies + Shirts

This design, with the pink damask fabric + ric rac, has become a very popular one! I recently designed these, the "L" and "i". If you're interested in purchasing similar items, the short sleeves are $17 + $3 extra for the ric rac.

New Fabric Choices

Here are some new fabric choices - with the yellow fabric, if you see a certain character that you like in it, I can cut it out and applique onto a onesie.

Organizing the blog

I've tried to organize this blog by labeling each post. So now you can look to the right side of the blog to find categories of my posts, all grouped together. Enjoy! Hope this helps...

My nephew's onesie

Here is a photo of my new nephew in his new 'N' onesie I made him! I can't believe it fits him already!

Brand new onesies!!

I am so happy with these new onesies that I designed! I used a new pink damask fabric for the 'a' and I used it again in the ice cream scoop. I added ricrac trim to the collars for a special touch - if you like something similar, I can make it with or without ricrac. Prices range from $19 to $21 for the ricrac letter onesies, and $28 to $30 for the ice cream ricrac onesies. Price depends if it's short sleeve, long sleeve or sleeveless.

A gift set for my new nephew

I made this gift set for my new nephew, whose name starts with an 'N'. I can't wait for him to wear it!

If you're interested in purchasing something similar, just email me at: rachel20@gmail.com

The bib sells for $12 and the long sleeve letter onesie sells for $18. If you buy both as a set there's a discount!

A new design!

Here in NYC, most babies and toddlers push little doll strollers around on the playground. Most of the strollers are the exact same, because they only come in about 2-3 choices. So sometimes you end up going home with a different stroller than you came with!

To solve that problem, I decided to personalize one for a little girl who just turned 1, and her name starts with an 'S'. I sewed a fabric letter onto the stroller fabric and - voila! - a personalized, one-of-a-kind new stroller!

If you're interested in having me make one for you (in boy or girl fabrics/designs), just email me at: rachel20@gmail.com
